So I haven't been very good at posting, but I promise to get better....just getting the hang of this. It's pretty hectic with Lexi all the time and McKenzie in so many classes and stuff. Usually when I get back home I just want to veg out or crash. (Not that I usually get to)
Here's a sample of my typical day.
7:00 get up and get the kids up (usually Lexi is already awake and screaming to get up)
7:30ish Craig leaves for work
8:00 get Roo off to school.
8:30 get breakfast for me and Lexi
9:00 clean up
Then entertain and play with Lexi
11:00 get lunch for the 2 of us
11:30 clean up from lunch
12:00 try to get Lexi to take a nap (takes anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour to get her to sleep)
After she's asleep clean up the rest of the house that she has destroyed
2-2:30 get Lexi up and get her a snack and ready to go
3:00 Go pick up Roo and Ben from school
4:00 Drop Ben off at home and run home to let the dogs out
Then off to the dance studio (monday, tuesday, thursday) and depending on the night be there for 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours.
Home by 8:30 or 9:00 and then try to get the kids to bed
Weekends seem to be just as hectic (there's dance on Saturdays and we run kids church on Sundays) and the evenings there is no dance is catch up on errands or sometimes Craig's friends come by for games and dinner.
Now I'm trying to start a class on Fridays to finish what I need to run a daycare...wish me luck.

Happy 2009
Ok everyone. So this is my first attempt (maybe last... we'll see how it goes) at blogs, chats, or anything of the sort. Hopefully I'll catch on and people will respond too. I figure this is something I can update at Lexi's nap time or whenever I have a few minutes to spare, not that there are many of those.
Christmas was great. The kids had a blast. Lexi's still looking for more presents to open and all the stuff she got is really making her talk more and try out new words.
McKenzie had a great time and is already planning next year. Her first dance competitions are coming up and she's working toward those.
Me, I'm just pulling my hair out figuring out what to do at home all the time.
